James M. Palermo, DDS, MS
Dr. James Palermo’s private practice began in 1972 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
He earned his DDS degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1967. Dr. Palermo served 4 years in the United States Air Force. Dr. Palermo then completed his residency in periodontology, and received a Master of Science from The Ohio State University.
He was servicing as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Periodontology at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry for over 20 years and officially retired from teaching in 2016.
Dr. Palermo was also a current member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Columbus Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, past President of Ohio Academy of Periodontology and Columbus Academy of Periodontology.
We celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. James M. Palermo on September 6, 2024 after his passing on August 20, 2024.
