Muhammad Takriti, DDS, MS

Dr. Muhammad Takriti earned his dental degree from Damascus University before moving to Houston, Texas, where he joined the McGuire Institute and coordinated clinical research focused on periodontal tissue regeneration and minimally invasive surgical therapies.

He completed a specialty program in Periodontics and Dental Implants at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), where he also earned a Master of Oral Sciences. His thesis won first place at the Midwest Society of Periodontology student research forum, and he received the Dr. Leon D. Rosenfeld and Dr. Alan L. Rosenfeld Resident Scholarship. He later served as a clinical assistant professor at UIC, fulfilling his passion for teaching.

A board-certified periodontist, Dr. Takriti is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Midwest Society of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Columbus Dental Society.

Being an avid learner, Dr. Takriti completed over 110 continued education hours in 2024. Committed to community service, Dr. Takriti has volunteered in various outreach programs and continues to provide high-quality care. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, sports, and traveling with his wife.
